Dipping Your Toes In
Ideal for learners who have little experience and aren't sure what their goals are yet. We will work with the student to help them discover what they enjoy and their options moving forward from that.
Finding Your Footing
Ideal for students who know what they want from music and have been learning for a while. We will continue to develop and refine what they have learned before coming to us.
Learning To Run
Ideal for learners who are comfortable on their instrument. We will work on taking them to the next step, as well as concepts outside of the instrument, such as performance, and confidence.
Advanced
This is the route for learners who are very experienced and are looking for more detailed guidance, be it on creative endeavours or technical.
Exam Focused
Ideal for learners who have little experience and aren't sure what their goals are yet. We will work with the student to help them discover what they enjoy and their options moving forward from that.
How we work
Fill out our contact form here, tell us some more about the student and we’ll arrange a half-price trial lesson so you can get a feel for what learning with us is like.
As part of the trial lesson, we will discuss with the student in order to figure out what path is best for them. Once you have decided which path to take, you we will proceed with booking you in for a structured block of lessons.
Once finished with the 8 week block, the student can decide whether to continue with another 8 week block or to continue on their own journey.
Our lessons work in a structured 8-week long block format. We spend the first 4 weeks learning the broad areas pertaining to the goal of the block, and the latter 4 weeks refining these broad areas into visible, felt progress on the instrument.

Guitar
Electric/Acoustic guitar training for rhythm, chords, melodies, and confidence on the guitar. Nurture creativity and confidence on the instrument.
Drums/
Percussion
Drum/percussion training for coordination and rhythm. Learn how drums can affect an entire piece of music, and act as the bedrock of modern music.
Bass Guitar
Bass guitar lessons to improve rhythm and technique. Learn how the bass supports a song and how it is a fundamental building block in modern music.
Theory/Exam Prep
Learn music theory; how chords are built, why certain melodies work, and how to create emotion/moods with music. Pull the curtain back on the inner workings of your favourite songs.
Composition
Learn the basics of composition: Why certain instruments work together, how to arrange music, and the capabilities of instrumental groups.
